The December 16th Weare School Board Meeting will be held at Weare Middle School in the library starting at 7:00 PM. All future school board meetings will be held in this location unless otherwise notified.

Weare Budget Re-Vote Passed

The Weare School Budget Re-Vote passed (751-591). Weare School District thanks everyone that supported the vote, everyone that came out and voted today, as well as all the volunteers that kept the issue current in the community.

Weare Students Capture NASA Contract to Build A REAL Rocket

As a result of the outstanding effort and results of the 2006 WMS Rocketry Team, Weare students were invited to submit a proposal to build a real rocket with NASA. In October, 2006 the Weare SLI (Student Launch Initiative) Team was notified that they were one of 16 Teams awarded a NASA contract. In April, 2007 the SLI Team will launch their rocket in Huntsville, AL at the Marshall Space Flight Center.
